FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Fond du Lac man was arrested Saturday for discharging a firearm during an argument with his wife.
At approximately 8:50 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of E. 9th Street for a reported domestic violence incident.
Authorities say a husband and wife were arguing and the husband was armed with a handgun.
At one point during the argument the male pointed the firearm at her and made a comment about shooting her. The male then walked into a different room and fired one round in the basement.
The man, aged 42, was arrested without incident and taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail. He is facing multiple criminal charges, according to police. An investigation is still underway.
