(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers roster will be known to the world later today as cuts are announced.
The team needs to be down to 53 players by 2 p.m. Central time.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said after Saturday’s game that making those cuts won’t be easy.
One position that doesn’t involve cutting players is the right guard position. Who will get the starting nod – first-round draft pick Jordan Morgan or veteran Sean Rhyan?
Could they rotate the 2 players?
And while LaFleur and GM Brian Gutekunst are thinking about the roster makeup and who will start at right guard, LaFleur and the coaching staff has to start planning for that opening night game in Brazil one week from this Friday.
What others are saying: The Sporting News says a Packers veteran is “in danger” of being traded.
Sports Illustrated makes its projections on the Packers’ 53-man roster.
