The U.S. Women’s Volleyball team is trying to do something the country has never accomplished before.
The ladies aim to defend their gold medal for the first time ever when they take the court later this month in the Paris Olympics.
The Stars and Stripes took home gold four years ago in Tokyo, and Jordan Larson says the sport is still growing.
The women’s team went undefeated in their quarterfinal, semifinal and gold medal matches in 2020, defeating the Dominican Republic, Serbia and Brazil along the way.
Larson has earned three medals in her career, which started in 2016 with a bronze finish at the Rio Games.
The Olympics begin on July 24th, with the opening ceremony taking place two days after.
