George informed the LA Clippers on Sunday that he will be signing with another team. The nine-time All-Star averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists last season. The 76ers are also reportedly signing center Andre Drummond to a two-year, 10-million-dollar deal and guard Eric Gordon to a one-year contract.

Golden State is waiving veteran point guard Chris Paul prior to the start of free agency. There was a deadline on Sunday for Paul’s 30-million dollar salary for next season to become guaranteed. ESPN reports that he now intends to sign a one-year, 11-million-dollar-plus deal with the San Antonio Spurs. The 39-year-old averaged 9.2 points and 6.8 assists in his only season with the Warriors.
James Harden Agrees To Two-Year Deal With Clippers: The Clippers will be bringing back one of their key playmakers next season. ESPN reports that Los Angeles is signing star guard James Harden to a two-year, 70-million dollar contract to remain with the team. The Clippers acquired Harden in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers last October. The 10-time All-Star went on to average 16.6 points, 8.5 assists and 5.1 rebounds in his first season with LA.
Caldwell-Pope Signs With Magic: The Orlando Magic are adding an NBA champion to their roster. ESPN reports that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is going to sign with the Orlando Magic. The contract is for three years and 66 million dollars. The Athletic adds that there is a player option of the third year of the deal. Caldwell-Pope averaged 10.1 points per game and shot 40.6 percent from three-point range for the Denver Nuggets in 2023-24. The guard helped Denver win the 2023 NBA championship.
Love Re-Signs With Heat: The Miami Heat are bringing back one of their key players. According to The Athletic, the team is signing forward/center Kevin Love to a two-year deal worth more than eight-million dollars. The 16-year veteran averaged 8.8 points and 6.1 rebounds last season in 55 games for the Heat. He came to Miami in a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2022-23 season and helped the Heat reach the NBA Finals that season.
