GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Fans of the Sea Dragon, rejoice; the ride may be returning to the Bay Beach Amusement Park.
The city closed the ride and plans to remove it due to increasing maintenance costs, saying it wouldn’t spend $300,000 to fix it.
But according to the agenda for Wednesday’s Parks Committee, a replacement could be on its way.
The item reads: “Consideration with possible action on accepting the donation of a used Sea Dragon Ride from the Friends of Bay Beach for the City to install at Bay Beach Amusement Park.”
No other details, including a possible timeline for installation, have been released.
The panel is also expected to finalize details for another new ride, the NebulaZ.
The Parks Committee meets at 5 p.m. Wednesday in room 207 of City Hall.
