(Green Bay, WI) — A prominent sportswriter says the Jets should avoid giving up a first-round pick to facilitate an Aaron Rodgers trade. Pat Leonard with the New York Daily News says Gang Green should give Green Bay a second-round pick, a conditional third-rounder next season and wide receiver Corey Davis. Leonard thinks the second-round pick could be the 42nd overall selection the team recently got in the Elijah Moore trade with the Browns. Leonard points to last year’s draft which netted the team Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson as the reason why New York shouldn’t give up its first-round pick.
