NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A $100 million investment to modernize a Fox Valley hospital has reached a milestone.
ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah’s new emergency department space will be open to patients March 20.
The new space includes a designated emergency department entrance, spacious waiting room, eight additional emergency care rooms and three triage rooms.
The existing emergency department remained open during the initial construction process, and construction teams will now focus on modernizing that space.
The hospital’s construction project broke ground in May of 2022.
The next phase of construction will include the Family Birth Center and Women’s Health areas.
The full modernization is expected to be complete in fall 2023.
