BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A deer is safe and on dry land, thanks to a group of Green Bay firefighters.
Crews were called to an area of the East River in Bellevue Thursday morning for a report of a deer that fell through the ice.
Firefighters put on their cold water rescue gear and were able to guide the deer to shore where it appears the animal will be okay.
