GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Green Bay Police Department says three more firearms were taken off the streets.
During a weekend arrest of a felon suspected of auto theft, is when they found the guns.
When the suspect was being taken into custody, officers found a loaded handgun being carried.
They also found two additional loaded handguns in the center console of a reported stolen vehicle.
A significant amount of ammunition was also found.
The suspect was taken into custody without an incident.
GBPD says officers are working daily to reduce gun violence in the community by holding people accountable who illegally have or misuse firearms.
