(WNFL) – The Minnesota Twins defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 4-1 Wednesday afternoon in Minneapolis on a 3-run walk-off home run by Jose Miranda off of Brewers closer Josh Hader.
What pitch was Miranda looking for?
Brewers manager Craig Counsell pointed to a couple of problems for his team. First was his team not being able to get anything going.
And they gave the Twins too many opportunities.
Brewers starting pitcher Aaron Ashby worked 4 1/3 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5.
Counsell said Ashby is a couple adjustments away from being a great addition to the Brewers rotation.
The Brewers open a 4-game series in San Francisco tonight against the Giants.
