GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two people were hurt and six people are displaced after a fire destroyed a home in Green Bay.
Crews were called to 1121 South Broadway Street just after 11 a.m. Thursday for a report of a structure fire.
Upon arrival, crews saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the house.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in about 50 minutes.
Two occupants were injured; one was treated and released on scene and one was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The fire cause remains under investigation.
It’s estimated the fire caused about $80,000 worth of damage and the home is a total loss.
Traffic was rerouted off of Broadway while crews fought the fire.
