GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — It may only be January, but the city of Green Bay is already thinking ahead to summer.
The Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is looking for lifeguards now, hoping not to see a repeat of last summer.
The summer of 2021 saw a lifeguard shortage, causing some pools to close, limiting swimmers’ options.
To entice future lifeguards, the city is offering a number of bonuses, including a $200 bonus if you work a full-time schedule.
