KEWAUNEE COUNTY (WTAQ-WLUK) — The internet in Kewaunee County is going to be getting better. On Friday, officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of a new tower.
It will provide wireless internet in areas west of Kewaunee and south of Luxemburg.
Bug Tussel Wireless says this is one of six new towers the company will equip in Kewaunee County.
“This is a game changer,” Kewaunee County Administrator Scott Feldt said. “All I’ve heard from being here is that our internet is not very good. Our internet is no good. How can we make it better? Please do something, whether it’s been businesses or residents or schools or parents of students. These towers change it all.”
Bug Tussel Wireless says it expects between 200 and 300 customers to use each tower.
So far, four towers have been built.
