(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals settled for a 6-6 tie in exhibition baseball in Arizona on Saturday.
Brandon Woodruff started for the Brewers, pitching 4 1/3 innings and allowing 4 hits, 2 walks and 2 runs while striking out 7.
Jordan Zimmerman pitched 2 innings and allowed 5 hits and 3 runs.
Miguel Sanchez pitched 1 inning for Milwaukee and allowed the game-tying run in the ninth.
Offensively, the Brewers had 10 hits with Lorenzo Cain and Jackie Bradley, Jr. both getting two hits. Cain had a home run and Keston Hiura who started at second for the second straight day had a double.
