GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Turns out the traffic problems police had anticipated surrounding the opening of Green Bay’s first Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant at the intersection of Mason and Taylor Streets have come to fruition.
The chicken has crossed the literal road, police say, and has stopped traffic on West Mason Street, something police had hoped to avoid.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area unless they too are on the hunt for fried chicken.
