GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A female was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting on Green Bay’s east side Wednesday night.
Police say a call was received shortly before 10 p.m. of a shooting in the 1200 block of Berner Street.
Police are looking for the suspect, but don’t believe the public is in any danger. They also say the shooting appeared to be targeted.
Wednesday afternoon two people were injured in an apparent drive-by shooting on Green Bay’s west side.
Police Chief Andrew Smith says the shooting happened around 12:30 near the intersection of 9th Street and Ashland Avenue.
The victims drove to a nearby gas station, where they called police. They were taken to the hospital, but Smith said their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
Police have detained one person; Smith said they were investigating the possibility of a second suspect.
Green Bay police also believe in this case the public is not in danger.
