Oct 28 (Field Level Media) – Indiana Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton is expected to miss an undetermined amount of time with a strained left hamstring, ESPN reported on Wednesday.
Per the report, team doctors and Haliburton are working on a clear timeline for his recovery.
Haliburton is averaging 21.8 points and a team-best 9.5 assists in four games (all starts) this season after sitting out the entire 2025-26 campaign following surgery for a right Achilles tear. He sustained that injury in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
He admitted to feeling “a little beat up” after Indiana’s 110-102 setback to the host Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. Haliburton initially was listed as questionable to play for the Pacers in Wednesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers in Indianapolis.
Haliburton, 26, has averaged 17.6 points with 8.9 assists in 337 regular- season games (298 starts) for the Sacramento Kings (2020-22) and Pacers. The Iowa State product, who was the 12th overall selection in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Kings, was acquired by the Pacers in a February 2022 trade in which Domantas Sabonis went to Sacramento.
