(LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers are 9 1/2 point favorites heading into this Saturday’s game at Camp Randall Stadium against the Michigan State Spartans.
Badgers coach Luke Fickell said that we’ll see how the Badgers respond this week after a big upset last week at Penn State.
Fickell said that they took a deep breath, now it’s on to Michigan State
In discussing last week’s game, Fickell said that quarterback Colton Joseph needs to make better decisions.
He added that running back Darrien Dupree has shown them the kind of player he can be.
Fickell said that the Badgers are still a team that has to grind.
Fickell also talked about Hammond Russel’s impact.
Fickell said that the team will have to continue to press forward.
As for this week’s opponent, Fickell said that he has the utmost respect for Michigan State coach Pat Fitzgerald.
Fickell said that you have to keep the celebration short and move on.
Michigan State is 2-and-2 so far this season. They will be missing top running back Cam Edwards after he suffered a season-ending injury. Kickoff is set for 11:30 a-m at Camp Randall Stadium. Michigan State brought in more than 50 new players through the transfer portal and incoming freshman this offseason.
