WAUKESHA – St. Norbert College wrapped up non-conference action with a 2-1 road loss to Carroll University at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights (2-2-2) conceded an early goal in the first half at 16:20 and trailed by the same score at halftime. Hayden Dunn scored the equalizer at 64:42 off an Everett Saeger assist. The pair linked up for a second time in as many days, as Dunn assisted Saeger’s goal in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Lawrence University.
The deadlocked score was not to last, as Eden Hajric scored his second of the game just two minutes later at 66:05.
The Pioneers eventually were left with ten men with just over 20 minutes to play after Liam Stokes picked up a second yellow, but the Green Knights couldn’t find a late leveler.
The Green Knights outshot Carroll 12-11. Jackson Kiszka made five saves for St. Norbert. Angel Escamilla made three stops for the Pioneers.
