GREEN BAY (WLUK) — The excitement for another season of Badgers Football kicked off Saturday afternoon in downtown Green Bay with the “Badger Bash.
Crowds of Bucky fans lined Broadway Street as the 350 member UW-Madison Marching Band and cheer squad were featured in a parade.
A Green Bay Fire Department truck and Green Bay Preble High School’s drum line were also on display in the parade.
The parade ended at Donald Driver Way near The Depot and Titletown Brewery, where the festivities continued.
While there, the band, cheer team and Bucky pumped fans up with a special performance on the event stage.
There were also various food trucks, vendors, bounce houses and other family friendly activities for fans to enjoy.
The Badgers take on Notre Dame Sunday at Lambeau Field with kick off at 6:30 p.m.
