WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — As votes continue to trickle in for the 2026 Wisconsin fall primary election, one county is having delays in its reporting due to technical difficulties.
In a post on Facebook, Winnebago County Executive Gordon Hintz wrote that the county is experiencing a server issue that is impacting how election results are being reported online.
“As a result, election totals are being uploaded from each of our 21 municipalities as they are physically brought in to the County Clerk’s office, which may cause delays in posting updated results,” Hintz wrote.
Hintz clarified that there are no issues at polling stations or with the counting of ballots, and that ballot counting proceeded like normal.
Rep. Tom Tiffany won the Republican primary for the gubernatorial race.
As of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Democratic nominee for the governor’s race is yet to be decided.
