(LEARFIELD) – In the wake of the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade and a draft that brought in fresh talent to the Milwaukee Bucks roster, Bucks GM Jon Horst talked to the media on Wednesday.
Horst was asked how do the Bucks move forward with such a young roster, knowing there will be some growing pains.
Horst said that they’re being very clear on when they want to be and how they want to play and what that looks like.
Horst said that there was no real time or date as to when they decided to trade Giannis.
Horst talked about how he views the players they received as they move forward.
He said that he’s excited about the group that came from Miami and building.
Horst said that they tried to build with Giannis to win another title but it just didn’t work out.
Horst talked about the emotion of trading an icon like Giannis.
Horst also discussed what he and hopefully the fans will take out of this deal.
The Bucks begin summer league play this weekend.
