TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One man faces multiple felonies for allegedly exploiting a Two Rivers minor online.
According to the Two Rivers Police Department, 33-year-old Nathan Brase was arrested following an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
In early June, investigators received information that Brase was communicating with a minor from Two Rivers.
The investigation uncovered evidence against Brase, including sexually exorting the victim, grooming the child for sexual activity, soliciting intimate images from the victim and making threats.
An arrest warrant was later issued and the suspect was arrested at his residence.
Brase taken into custody at the Taylor County Jail before being extradited to the Manitowoc County Jail.
Brase is being held on the following charges:
- Grooming a Child for Sexual Activity
- Exposing a Child to Harmful Descriptions
- Exposing Genitals
- Intimidation of a Victim
- Soliciting an Intimate Representation from a minor
The arrest was assisted by the United States Marshals Service, Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, Wood County Sheriff’s Office, and Medford Police Department.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Investigators believe there could be additional victims who have yet to be identified.
