(GREEN BAY PACKERS) – The Green Bay Packers signed tight end Luke Lachey and released wide receiver Jakobie Keeney-James. The transactions were announced Monday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
(luh-SHAY) Lachey (6-6, 250) was originally selected by the Houston Texans in the seventh round (No. 255 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent his entire rookie season on the Texans’ practice squad before being released on May 11. Lachey played in 42 games with 31 starts for Iowa, was named a permanent team captain and was one of Iowa’s Comeback Players of the Year his senior season. He will wear No. 86 for Green Bay.
