(247NEWSSOURCE) – The Milwaukee Brewers carved up St. Louis hitters for the second day in a row during a 6-0 win from American Family Field in Milwaukee on Tuesday.
Kyle Harrison earned his sixth win after allowing just for hits in six scoreless innings.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Harrison won despite not having his best stuff.
Harrison said that he just used the defense behind him.
He said that all he was doing was trying to keep putting up zeros.
Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell both homered in the victory.
The Brewers are in first place in the NL Central at 32-and-20.
Michael McGreevy was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering five runs on seven hits in four innings.
The Cardinals dropped to 29-and-24.
