Stretch of I-41 northbound in the Fox Valley closed for emergency pavement repair

OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A stretch of Interstate 41 is closed for much of the day Wednesday.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says northbound I-41 is closed between Wisconsin Avenue (Highway 96) and Richmond Street (Highway 47) in Grand Chute. The off-ramps to Highway 47 and Highway 15/OO/Northland Avenue, and the on-ramp from 15/OO/Northland are also closed.

Crews will be doing emergency pavement repairs.

Traffic will be detoured onto Wisconsin Avenue, Lynndale Drive (Highway A), Northland Avenue (Highway OO) and Richmond Street.

Wednesday afternoon, the DOT said the closure will last past 6 p.m.
