(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Bucks suffered another one-sided loss. This time it was 129-96 to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.
The Bucks trailed by more than 40 points during the game and were outscored in the second and third quarters 80-43.
Doc Rivers talked about team clinching a losing season.
Rivers said that the last time the Bucks had a season with a losing record was 2015-16 under Jason Kidd.
Rivers oted that this was the 10th time this season they’ve lost a game by 25 or more points.
Gary Trent Junior came off the bench to lead the scoring with 20 points. Ryan Rollins and AJ Green added 15 and 13 points, respectively.
The Milwaukee bench actually provided 60 of the team’s 96 points.
Kawhi Leonard played just 25 minutes and scored 28 points to lead the Clippers. Former Bucks center Brook Lopez scored 19.
The Bucks are back in action Wednesday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The game can be heard beginning at 8:30 p.m. on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
Roster move: The Milwaukee Bucks have converted forward/center Pete Nance to a multi-year standard NBA contract. The Bucks have also requested waivers on guard Cam Thomas.
Nance has appeared in a career-high 37 games this season while on a Two-Way contract with the Bucks, averaging a career-best 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in a career-high 12.1 minutes per game. The Northwestern product has seen action in 58 career NBA games, including 43 games with Milwaukee, over three NBA seasons and he holds career averages of 3.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10.6 minutes per game.
Thomas, who first signed with the Bucks on Feb. 8, appeared in 18 games with Milwaukee
