MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Faith Technologies says it has changed its mind in acquiring the former UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities campus.
After concluding its 90-day due diligence period, Faith Technologies determined that the best path forward is not acquiring the campus buildings and continuing to look for opportunities that better align with long-term needs.
At the end of last year, Faith Technologies announced its plan to redevelop the campus into its national hub for workforce development and advanced technology training.
“This was always an exploratory process and we understood there were no commitments that FTI would take on the campus,” said Winnebago County executive Gordon Hintz. “We appreciated their thorough due diligence and the thoughtful conversations throughout the process. FTI’s feedback and assessment give us a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist as we work to redevelop and repurpose the Winnebago Fox campus.”
Faith Technologies says it plans to explore future collaborative opportunities at the Winnebago Fox campus including leasing space and working with organizations focused on innovation and technical training.
Winnebago County took control over the closed campus in July.
