(LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 23-6 in a game that was controlled by the Packers.
The Packers had the ball for over 37 minutes while Minnesota had it for less than 23 minutes. Green Bay also ran 65 plays compared to just 44 for Minnesota. Packers also ran the ball 42 times.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about the win.
LaFleur talked about when they realized they were going to “take the air out of the ball.”
He said that at times he felt like they imposed their will on Minnesota’s defense.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love said the way the defense was playing, they knew they didn’t have to take as many chances.
Love said that they knew the situation called for the Packers to be more conservative on offense.
About that defense: Micah Parsons said that it’s great to go to 2-0 in division games.
With 2 sacks in the game, Parsons has reached double digits in sacks for the season. He talked about that.
Parsons said that there are still things they’d like to do better
It’s a short turnaround for the Packers who play the Detroit Lions in Detroit on Thanksgiving day.
