(LEARFIELD) – In an otherwise dismal Badgers football season, Saturday’s 27-1o win over Illinois shed a ray of hope for the future.
Badgers coach Luke Fickell said the 16-play opening drive set the table in this one.
Darryl Peterson said that they badly wanted to get a win on senior night.
Fickell said that it’s important to finish the season strong.

Running back Darian DuPree who had 17 carries for 135 yds and 2 TDs said that Fickell inspired them.
The Badgers close out the season this Saturday at Minnesota against the Golden Gophers with Paul Bunyan’s Axe at stake.
