(LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey team has a home series tonight and Saturday against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Badgers coach Mike Hastings said that the two teams have had a lot of tight games against Ohio State the last few years.
He said that he expects a tough series against the Buckeyes.
The Badgers are currently ranked No. 7 nationally but Hastings said that he doesn’t pay a lot of attention to the college hockey polls.
He said that so far Wisconsin is doing a good job of controlling what they can control.
Hastings said that the Big Ten is off to a great start.
He added that over the course of the season, the Big Ten is quite the proving ground.
Friday’s game starts at 7 p.m., while Saturday’s begins at 6 p.m.
