(LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers continue getting ready today for Sunday’s noon contest against the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur was asked if, with a contest looming a week from Monday against Philadelphia, Sunday’s contest could be a trap game.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love also talked about how Sunday’s game could be a “trap game”.
LaFleur then talked about the emergence of Panthers quarterback Brice Young.
He added this about Young.
Packers edge rusher Kingsley Engabare had an impressive game against the Steelers and LaFleur offered up this about him.
As for running back Josh Jacobs playing hurt, LaFleur said that Jacobs is doing fine and he’s seen that “Jacobs burst”.
Opponents adjusting: Love talked about whether or not opponents have tried to take Tucker Kraft away from him as a receiving option.
Love said that Christian Watson helped open things up against the Steelers.
Throwback uniforms: The Packers will wear 1923 throwback uniforms on Sunday. Love talked about those.
