(LEARFIELD) – The Packers defense and its inability to sack quarterback Joe Flacco was the main topic of Monday’s news conference with Packers coach Matt LaFleur.
Flacco was successful in the second half by throwing the ball quickly and not letting the pass rush get to him.
Does LaFleur expect every quarterback from here on out to get the ball out quickly?
How do they counteract that?
LaFleur said that he and Jeff Hafley have been discussing their 2nd half defensive issues.
LaFleur said that they are trying to cover all of their bases.
To the lockerroom: Keisean Nixon was asked if they were surprised how well the Bengals moved the ball in the passing game in the 2nd half.
He also talked about the Bengals using the short pass game to keep the Packers defense off of Joe Flacco.
Micah Parsons said that first half showed who the Packers are defensively.
The Packers head west to play the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.
