(UW ATHLETICS) MADISON – The Wisconsin football team fell 37-0 to Iowa on Saturday night at Camp Randall Stadium.
The Hawkeyes (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) posted 17 points in the first quarter against the Badgers (2-4, 0-3 Big Ten), spoiling UW’s Homecoming festivities.
Wisconsin limited Iowa to a pair of field goals in the second frame as the Hawkeyes took a 23-0 lead into the locker room.
Iowa scored 14 more points in the second half to round out the scoring.
Dillin Jones paced the UW offense with 69 yards on the ground.
Christian Alliegro paced the UW defense with 10 tackles, while Matthew Jung added eight stops, one shy of his career high set last week against Michigan.
Ricardo Hallman earned his first pick of the season at the end of the first quarter.
UP NEXT: Wisconsin will host No. 1 Ohio State next Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
