(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Bucks reportedly did discuss the idea of trading superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo to the New York Knicks.
ESPN reports that Antetokounmpo hadn’t requested a trade when the sides talked in August.
His team has said multiple times that it has no plans to let the two-time Most Valuable Player leave.
The Knicks’ offer wasn’t nearly enough. Any trade for Antetokounmpo would send so much talent and draft capital to Milwaukee that the other side would be decimated.
Up next: The Bucks play the Detroit Pistons in their second pre-season game Thursday night. The game can be heard on WNFL beginning at 6:30 p.m
