(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers pounded three home runs after falling behind 3-0 in the first inning Monday night and went on to beat the Chicago Cubs 7-3 in the second game of the two teams National League Division Series.
They took a two-games-to-none lead in the series with the win.
Andrew Vaughn tied the score in the bottom of the first with a three-run homer.
Vaughn talked about his home run.
William Contreras put his team ahead with a solo shot, then Jackson Chourio went deep with two on base in the fourth.
Rookie Jacob Misiorowski provided three scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Misiorowski stepped up.
The Brewers’ Caleb Durbin said that Misiorowski’s stuff was electric.
