(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers try to go up two games to none when they pitch lefty Aaron Ashby against the Cubs tonight at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Ashby said that his job is simple.
When did he find out that he’d be starting?
Milwaukee jumped out to a nine-run lead in the first game Saturday, eventually winning 9-3.
All nine runs were scored in the first two innings.
Jackson Chourio went 3-for-3 in those two innings, then left the action with a sore hamstring.
Manager Pat Murphy says it would be “devastating” if Chourio is knocked out.
Freddy Peralta got Saturday’s pitching victory.
The Cubs will send Shoto Imanaga to the mound tonight.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Imanaga.
Murphy also talked about the gamesmanship between the 2 teams.
The game can be heard beginning at 7:30 with the pregame and 8:08 with the the first pitch on 97.5 and 1360 WTAQ.
