(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Bucks are wrapping up their first week of training camp before heading to Miami to continue working out.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said that after crunching the numbers, he discovered why the Bucks didn’t take more 3-point shots last season.
Rivers said that when he first arrived to Milwaukee, he told GM Jon Horst the roster was too old and slow.
Rivers talked about why he’s in favor of having Giannis Antetokounmpo play point guard.
Rivers also discussed what’s being asked of the players this year in training camp.
The Bucks’ big off-season acquisition Myles Turner will have an interesting role compared to his role in Indiana, according to Rivers.
The Bucks open pre-season play on Monday against the Miami Heat with the game being heard on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL beginning at 6 p.m.
