(LEARFIELD/247NEWSSOURCE) – The Green Bay Packers take on the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night in Dallas with both teams trying to bounce back from losses last Sunday.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that they have faced the Cowboys before, but with a different coaching staff, they’re starting from scratch.
LaFleur talked about the Cowboys defense and special teams.
Reacting to a question about Micah Parsons facing his former team, LaFleur said that they have to approach each game the same way.
LaFleur also talked about facing former teammate Kenny Clark.
Jenkins ready for Clark: One of the key matchups in Sunday’s contest will be Packers center Elgton Jenkins against Cowboys’ defensive tackle Kenny Clark.
Jenkins was asked about preparing to face Kenny Clark.
Does he know the moves he needs to keeping Kenny Clark in check?
Jenkins said that Clark knows what works against him too.
Tom out for Sunday? The Packers will reportedly be without a key lineman on Sunday. According to multiple reports, Green Bay tackle Zach Tom is not expected to play against the Dallas Cowboys on the road. Tom missed the team’s week two game against the Commanders with an oblique injury and left last week’s loss to the Browns with the same injury.
Nominated for Hall of Fame: The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its nominees for its upcoming class. The group includes 128 people, including 13 in their first year of eligibility. Former Packers Clay Matthews, Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, Nick Collins, A.J. Hawk, Josh Sitton, Jahri Evans, Jeff Saturday, Wesley Walls, Eric Metcalf, Allen Rossum and Sean Landeta were included as nominees. The list will be reduced to 50 potential Hall of Famers later this fall.
