(UW ATHLETICS) – The 2025-26 Big Ten men’s basketball schedule was announced on Thursday, rounding out the Wisconsin men’s basketball team’s full schedule.
The Badgers open conference play at home on Wednesday, Dec. 3 against Northwestern, just prior to their home clash with Marquette on Saturday, Dec. 6. UW will hit the road on Wednesday, Dec. 10, to tip off against Nebraska before turning their sights to three December non-conference games in the state of Wisconsin.
Big Ten Conference action returns to the Kohl Center in January with a Saturday, Jan. 3, matchup against Purdue, followed by UCLA’s first trip to Madison since 1962 on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Wisconsin hosts six Big Ten weekend matchups this season, including Purdue (Saturday, Jan. 3), Rutgers (Saturday, Jan. 17), USC (Sunday, Jan. 25), Ohio State (Saturday, Jan. 31), Michigan State (Friday, Feb. 13) and Iowa (Sunday, Feb. 22).
The Badgers will make their first trip to Washington since 1955, facing the Huskies on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Alaska Airlines Arena, three days after their first-ever conference game at Oregon on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
Highlighting the non-conference slate is a neutral-site game in Salt Lake City against BYU (Nov. 21), a home game against Marquette on Dec. 6 and a matchup with Villanova at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee (Dec. 19). The Badgers will also play in the Rady Children’s Invitational over Thanksgiving, squaring off with Providence on Nov. 27, before seeing either TCU or Florida the following day.
The Badgers will face six teams ranked in ESPN.com’s way-too-early top 25, including home games against No. 1 Purdue and No. 15 UCLA.
Game start times and television coverage will be announced at a later date.
