(LEARFIELD) – The day after they qualified for the postseason, the Brewers dropped a 3-2 game to the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Cardinals scored all three runs in the second inning Sunday.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about the St. Louis third inning and starting pitcher Jose Quintana’s calf injury.
Brewers catcher Danny Jansen talked about the 3-run second for St. Louis.
Milwaukee scored its runs on solo homers by Caleb Durbin and Jansen.
Quintana took the loss.
The Brewers became the first team to make the postseason Saturday.
They’re off today, then will welcome the Los Angeles Angels to American Family Field for a series starting Tuesday.
