(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers scored 2 runs in the fourth inning and 2 more in the eighth and Brandon Woodruff had a strong outing in the Brewers’ 4-1 win over Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Woodruff allowed 2 hits and struck out 8 over 6 innings in dominating the Pirates.
The Brewers got their runs on a 2-run home run by Jake Bauers in the fourth inning and a 2-run home run by Jackson Chourio in the eighth inning.
The 2 teams will wrap up the series this afternoon.
