(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers had to make last minute changes to their pitching staff Wednesday before they inevitably fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2.
Right-hander Quinn Priester was scratched from his planned start Wednesday with what the team called a wrist issue.
Aaron Ashby would instead start the game and pitch two innings before he was relieved by Erick Fredde, who the team signed hours before the game.
Fedded talked about working with the staff to get ready for the game.
Where does this go from here?
Fedde said that he was happy for the chance to go out and pitch.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that they were in a position to win.
The Brewers also placed All-Star closer Trevor Megill on the 15-day injured list with a right flexor strain.
The 2 teams play the final game of the series this afternoon beginning with the pre-game show at 12:35 on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL.
