Bucks were not going to trade Antetokounmpo

(LEARFIELD) – It appears the Bucks never talked with another NBA team about a potential trade for superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

ESPN interviewed Houston Rockets general manager Rafael Stone, who says he never had any serious talks with Milwaukee’s front office.

General manager Jon Horst is said to have politely rebuffed Stone’s inquiry – and the Rockets were one of the favorites in multiple speculative stories about such a trade.

If nothing happens with a trade, Antetokounmpo could opt out in the summer of 2028.
