(LEARFIELD) – The Packers came from behind in the fourth quarter to beat Indianapolis 23-19 in a preseason game Saturday.
Backup quarterback Sean Clifford ran it in from 11 yards out with a minute-and-a-half remaining for the winning score.
Then a drive by the Colts came up short at Green Bay’s 31-yard line.
Israel Abanikanda led the ground game with 43 yards, and he scored the first touchdown.
Rookie Tayler Elgersme threw for 109 yards.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about safety Omar Brown who remains in a Indianapolis hospital after suffering a lung injury during the preseason win over the Colts.
LaFleur said that Marshawn Lloyd is going to miss some time with a hamstring injury.
LaFleur said Amar Johnson has done a nice job.
He also talked about running back Israel Abanikanda.

LaFleur said that after a sloppy first half, the team plays a much cleaner second half from what he saw.
LaFleur also noted that Elgersma did some good and and has some areas he needs work on.
The Packers will hold a second joint practice, this time with the Seahawks, before closing out the season against them at home.
