(LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers have wrapped up their training camp in Platteville.
Wisconsin Badgers coach Luke Fickell said that the team got good work in Platteville.
He said that this is a more experienced team in 2025.
Fickell talked about offensive lineman Emerson Mandell.
Fickell also talked about senior linebacker Corey Walker.
Fickell said that the Badgers are still trying to figure out who the second- and third-string quarterbacks are.
On the watch list: Badgers center Jake Renfro has been named to the Rimington Trophy Watch list.
Yahoo Sports reports Renfro is one of seven Big Ten centers on the list for the coming season.
The trophy goes to the top center in college football.
Tyler Biadasz, now with the Washington Commanders, is the only other Badgers player to claim the prize.
Currently, Renfro is dealing with a lower-body injury suffered during last Thursday’s practice.
His status for the season opener is up in the air.
