(LEARFIELD) – Sunday’s 14-3 rout of the Washington Nationals in Washington completed a weekend sweep by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Milwaukee outscored the Nats 38-14, setting franchise records for runs and hits, 56, in a three-game series.
Brice Turang pounded two home runs. Turang and Joseph Ortiz knocked in four runs each, and Aaron Ashby got the win in relief.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about how his young players are performing.
He said the young players are all pulling for each other.
