(UW ATHLETICS) MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin volleyball returns to the genesis of the Kohl Center Classic with a match against the Florida Gators on Sunday, September 21 at 12 p.m. CST on the Big Ten Network.
The first year of the Kohl Center Classic in 2022, the Badgers hosted Florida and at the time, set an NCAA indoor attendance record of 16,833 in a five-set thriller against No. 16 Florida.
In 2024, the Badgers hosted in-state rival Marquette with the match drawing a total of 15,084 fans to the Kohl Center. The Badgers won 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-22) in what was historic night for former three-time, All-American and outside hitter Sarah Franklin. Franklin posted a new program record for the most kills in a single match with 33 kills.
The Badgers will look to sell out the Kohl Center, which holds seats to more than 17,000 fans for Badger men’s and women’s basketball. The match will also air live on the Big Ten Network at 12 p.m. CST.

Wisconsin will kick-off the season with a Red and White scrimmage on August 16 at 1 p.m. and will follow with an exhibition against Notre Dame the following day at 1 p.m. from the UW Field House.
