(LEARFIELD/247NEWSSOURCE) – The Green Bay Packers are concerned abouit running back Marshawn Lynch.
The back who was injured for much of last season did not practice Tuesday due to a groin injury he suffered on Monday. Coach Matt LaFleur said he does not believe the injury occurred when Lloyd was hit by cornerback Nate Hobbs, which is when Lloyd left practice.
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said they are crossing their fingers about him.
Gutekkunst said that overall the rookie class is off to a great start.
Gutekunst talked abou whether or not signing linebacker Isaiah Simmons a flyer move.
Gutekunst also talked about whether Matthew Golden exceeded expectations.
Love on Golden, physical practices and a feisty LaFleur: Packers quarterback Jordan Love talked about what LaFleur had to say to the team after Tuesday’s padded practice.
Love said that so far, he’s impressed by Golden’s work ethic.
Love talked about how Golden make another big play for Golden, this time downfield against Carrington Valentine.
There has been considerable physicality in Packers practices so far. Love talked about where they need to draw the line on physical play in practice.
Feisty Packers: Left tackle Rasheed Walker and edge rusher Kingsley Engebare mixed it up during Tuesday’s padded workout in Green Bay. Walker was scolded by coach Matt laFleur and told to run a lap.
Walker was joined by the rest of the offensive line, TE Tucker Kraft and RB Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs talked about why he joined Walker in running the lap.
