(LEARFIELD) – The Packers defense has played aggressively the first couple of days of practice.
So much so that Packes coach Matt LaFleur said that Nate Hobbs and defenders had to dial it down just a bit as Packers practiced Sunday without pads.
Padded practices start today which LaFleur is looking forward to.
He said that he and his staff will get a much better estimation of players when the pads go on.
What about this guy? LaFleur was asked questions about specific players including linebacker Kristian Welch.
LaFleur said that offensive lineman Jacob Monk is off to a good start.
And LaFleur talked about what Carrington Valentine brings to the secondary.
Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper: Packers linebacker Edgeririn Cooper talked about hte main goal for the defense.
He explained what the key for the defense will be.
He also talked about the impact of adding linebacker Isaiah Simmons.
Today’s practice starts at 10:30 and is open to the public.
